Vol. 215 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Public Libraries.

9.

asked the Minister for Local Government what proposals there are for the provision of public libraries in the Crumlin, Kimmage and Drimnagh areas of Dublin.

I understand that Dublin Corporation propose to provide library facilities for the Crumlin area from the branch library to be erected at Dolphin's Barn and from a mobile library. The immediate needs of the Drimnagh area will also be met by a mobile library and, by agreement with Dublin County Council, residents will have access to the branch library at Walkinstown. The Kimmage area is served from the Templeogue Road branch which it is proposed to extend in the near future to provide a full service for adults and children.
