asked the Minister for Health whether the Dublin Health Authority give financial support to day-centres for the children of working mothers; and, if so, if he will state the amount thereof and the name of each creche so benefiting.

Dublin Health Authority pays a grant of £100 per annum to St. Mary's Day Nursery, Henrietta Street and an annual grant, amounting in recent years to about £1,700, to the Civics Institute of Ireland Ltd. in respect of the two centres conducted by them, that is, St. Brigid's Nursery Centre, Mountjoy Square and St. Joseph's Nursery Centre, Maryland, Cork Street.
