70.

asked the Minister for Education (1) the number of untrained teachers at present teaching in national schools, and (2) the number of such teachers who have (a) under five years' service, (b) five to ten years' service, (c) ten to fifteen years' service, (d) fifteen to twenty years' service, and (e) over twenty years' service.

With your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, I propose to circulate with the Official Report, a statement giving the information requested by the Deputy.

Following is the statement:
