Vol. 215 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Fire Brigade Services.

9.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether at present any plans are under consideration for the setting-up of fire brigade services manned by permanent crews in the various housing schemes in the Dublin area, particularly in view of the fact that many of the outlying areas are a considerable distance from the nearest fire service.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 12 on 10th March, 1965. I understand that there have been no further developments since that date. I might add that all fire stations in Dublin County Borough, with the exception of Howth station, are manned by permanent crews.
