Vol. 216 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Carrigaline (Cork) Vocational School.

59.

asked the Minister for Education the reason for the delay in the building of Carrigaline vocational school, County Cork; and when building will begin.

During the course of planning, it was found necessary to provide additional accommodation if the proposed new vocational school a Carrigaline. The consequent revision of plans caused some slight delay.

The position now is that the County Cork Vocational Education Committee was authorised recently to invite tenders for the new school. Work on the building should, therefore, be commenced at a very early date.
