(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Transport and Power whether Shannon Free Airport Development Company issue grants-in-aid directly or through An Foras Tionscal.

Grants to industries at Shannon are provided by the Shannon Free Airport Development Company direct to the industries and are broadly based on the grants made available by An Foras Tionscal for industrial development elsewhere in the country.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Transport and Power the present membership of the Shannon Free Airport Development Company and the salary and other emoluments attaching in each case.

As the reply is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with your permission, a Cheann Comhairle, to have it circulated with the Official Report.
