Vol. 218 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Electricity Supply at Flat Rate.

3.

asked the Minister for Transport and Power the estimated cost of providing electric light and power at a flat rate to all consumers.

From information received from the Electricity Supply Board, it has been conservatively estimated that to abolish all existing and future special service charges would increase the Board's annual loss on rural electrification by about £338,000.
