Vol. 218 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cashel Housing Loan.

23.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Local Government when the application by Cashel urban council for a loan of £22,800 is likely to be processed in view of the fact that no local authority house has been built there over the past ten years, that the present scheme has taken considerable time already, that there is an amount of local anxiety, and that his department have received several reminders on the matter.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply to his question of 9th November on the subject. I am not in a position to say at this stage when the loan is likely to be approved.
