My Department has reached price agreement for the purchase of an area of 121 acres, is in negotiation for the purchase of two further areas totalling 51¼ acres, and has offers of two more areas totalling 42½ acres under consideration, all in or near the Rosses area of County Donegal. Since June, 1964, six areas with a total acreage of 555 acres have been acquired for State afforestation purposes in this region.
