Vol. 218 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Mill.

60.

(South Tipperary) asked the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries if he will make a statement as to the position in regard to payment to farmers who supplied barley recently to Messrs. Going and Smith of Cahir, County Tipperary; and what steps he proposes to take to alleviate hardship arising to these farmers who now appear to be faced with substantial loss as a result of liquidation proceedings.

I understand that the liquidator of the company has informed the creditors that on the information available to him they will receive 20/- in the £1 on all their legitimate claims against the company.
