Vol. 219 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cleaning of County Tipperary River.

15.

asked the Minister for Finance if he is aware that the river in the village of Holyford, County Tipperary, needs cleaning; and that it is causing considerable flooding to the post office and other premises; and if he will take steps to remedy the situation.

The cleaning of this river is not a matter for my office.

By whom should it be done? It cannot be done under the Local Authorities (Works) Act because you stopped it.
