The Official Import List under which goods are classified does not contain specific headings for oil heaters or oil-fired air heaters and the particulars requested by the Deputy are, therefore, not separately available. The relevant headings which include oil heaters cover oil stoves as well and oil-fired air heaters are included in a heading which relates to all central heating apparatus not electrically operated. With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement showing the total value of such imports in 1963, 1964 and in the period January-October, 1965.
