asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state in respect of a recent year the number of days lost through illness, based on claims for payment of disability benefit for insured employees.

The number of days lost through illness in the 1963 benefit year based on claims for payment of disability benefit by insured employees was approximately 14,992,000.
