asked the Taoiseach the total value of wheat, oats and other cereals imported in each year since 1954.

Can the Parliamentary Secretary say if his written reply will break down the category covered by "other cereals"?

Yes: wheat, oats, barley, maize, rice and others.

They are a bit big. We shall ask another question.

asked the Taoiseach if he will give a breakdown of the figure of £3,284,559 regarding imports of cereals given in a reply of 26th January, 1966.

Imports variously described as "milo", "milo maize", "grain sorghum" and "milo-grain sorghum" accounted for £3,258,007 of the total in question. The balance included rye, millet, birdseed, corn on the cob, etc. but separate figures for these items are not available.
