Vol. 221 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Intoxicating Liquor Licences.

5.

Mr. O'Leary

asked the Minister for Finance if, following his meeting on the 23rd February with the Irish National Vintners' Federation and having regard to their representations on the matter of the excessive number of licences held at present and their suggested solution as to the form of compensation, any legislation is contemplated to give effect to these representations.

As I informed the representatives of the Federation, this is a matter for the Minister for Justice to whom I have conveyed their views.
