Vol. 221 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Bus Queue Facilities.

14.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the serious risk and grave inconvenience caused to intending passengers on Ballyfermot bound buses who are obliged to queue on a very narrow and exposed pavement at Bachelor's Walk, Dublin consequent on the new traffic arrangements; what proposals Dublin Corporation have to deal with the problem; and when they will be implemented.

I understand that Dublin Corporation propose to widen the footpath on the southern side of Bachelor's Walk and have given permission to Córas Iompair Éireann to erect a bus shelter there. These authorities are responsible for the execution of the works and I have no information regarding the date of their implementation.
