Imports of maize (unmilled) into the country in 1965 amounted to 2,341,663 cwts. and the average price per ton (cif) was £23. 15. 5d. Other unmilled cereals imported included grains, variously described as "milo", "milo maize", "grain sorghum" and "milo-grain sorghum". The imports of these "milo" grains amounted in 1965 to 3,049,400 cwts. at an average price per ton (cif) of £21. 7. 5d.
