Vol. 221 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Old IRA Pensions and Allowances.

44.

asked the Minister for Defence the names of those in receipt of service pensions and special allowances and of those who have received service medals in the City of Limerick.

The information requested regarding service pensions and special allowances is being compiled and will be forwarded to the Deputy.

Having regard to the amount of official time which would be involved— the examination of over 73,000 cards would be necessary—I regret that it would not be feasible to supply the particulars requested concerning service medals.

Is the 73,000 for Limerick?

No, for the whole country.
