Vol. 221 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Roscarbery (Cork) Television Reception.

68.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs whether any action is at present under consideration for the improvement of television reception in the Roscarbery area, County Cork; and, if so, what action it is proposed to take.

I understand that the Roscarbery area, County Cork, is one of a number of areas in the country where television reception is not entirely satisfactory. The Authority is carrying out surveys with a view to deciding what further action, if any, should be taken to improve reception in these areas.

When are the surveys being carried out?

Final surveys are being carried out now.
