Vol. 221 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Division of Estates.

28.

asked the Minister for Lands when the Moore-Mulcahy Estate, Rossmore, Newcastle, County Tipperary, will be divided.

I expect that this estate, comprising upwards of 50 acres, will be allotted during the present month.

29.

asked the Minister for Lands if it is proposed to acquire the Lonergan Estate, Tinalira, Ballinamult, County Waterford, for division.

The Land Commission have no proceedings for the acquisition of this 140 acres property but the case is on record for inquiry.

30.

asked the Minister for Lands if it is proposed to divide among local small-holders the thirty-five residual acres of the Kinsella Estate, Ballythomas, Gorey, County Wexford, held by the Forestry Division of his Department, as all of this land is fully arable and well watered.

I am requesting the Land Commission to consider whether the lands in question should be acquired by them for allotment.
