asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, having regard to the many official exhortations to buy Irish, he will say what steps have been taken in his Department to ensure that priority is given to Irish goods.

The regulations governing the placing of contracts are prescribed by the Minister for Finance and provide for generous preferences to producers of Irish goods.
