Vol. 221 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Repair of Dublin Pavements.

45.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if, having regard to the dangerous condition of several city pavements by reason of the removal therefrom last year of post office pillar letter boxes, he will immediately complete arrangements with Dublin Corporation for the prompt reinstatement of pavements damaged by such operations.

The contractor who erected the boxes is responsible for making good the footpaths to the requirements of Dublin Corporation. I understand that the contractor has almost completed the work.
