Vol. 221 No. 10

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Nos. 1 and 5 on the Order Paper. Because of the illness of the Ceann Comhairle, it is necessary to make a special arrangement for dealing with No. 1 which has to be moved by the Leas-Cheann Comhairle. It is proposed to take it at 5.30 p.m. and I move now:

That notwithstanding Standing Order 26 of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business Private Business may be taken at any time today.

At 5.30, until it is concluded.

We ask that unless there are certain circumstances, it should not be taken until tomorrow. Is there any particular urgency in having it taken today?

The Deputy may raise that point at 5.30. I am not sure if there is any element of urgency in it.

Question put and agreed to.
