Written Answers. - County Council Capital Requirements.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state in respect of (a) Meath County Council and (b) Dublin County Council as regards estimates of capital requirements for 1966-67, stated to have been furnished to his Department by the county managers, (1) the local authority housing purposes and the number of houses, (2) the SDA loan purposes (3) water and sewerage schemes and the amounts and designation of such schemes, and (4) other capital purposes.

The required particulars are as follows:—

Local authority housing

The following estimates of requirements in respect of moneys required in 1966-67 to finance commitments on local authority schemes were furnished by the housing authorities concerned:

Consultations with the authorities in regard to new works were related to tender proposals already before the Department. No overall estimates of requirements of expenditure in 1966-67 on foot of new local authority housing schemes were submitted.
