Vol. 223 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Transfer of Estate Duty Branch.

9.

asked the Minister for Finance whether it is correct that he proposes to transfer the Estate Duty Branch of the Revenue Commissioners to Griffith Barracks, Dublin; and if he is aware that such a transfer so far away from other Governmental offices in the city of Dublin will cause the greatest inconvenience to all concerned.

It will be necessary to provide suitable alternative accommodation for the Estate Duty Branch of the Revenue Commissioners' Office which will have to leave its present premises at St. Stephen's Green. There is, however, no proposal to move the Branch to Griffith Barracks.
