I have not had any representations from Limerick Corporation in this matter. As I understand it, the Corporation is at present in touch with the Trustees as regards a particular site which they wish to acquire, and it may be possible to effect a transfer of the site within the existing law. If new legislation were shown to be necessary, I should expect the local bodies concerned to take an initiative in promoting it.
