Vol. 223 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kilworth (Cork) Lands.

40.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will now agree to have the many acres of fertile land which is derelict in Kilworth range, County Cork, handed over to the Land Commission for division among the small farmers in the Kilworth district.

All the land at Kilworth under the administration of my Department which is suitable for agricultural purposes is let either to individuals or on a per capita grazing basis. Owing to military requirements none of the property is available for transfer to the Land Commission.
