I am informed by Bord Fáilte that the seven counties, including Roscommon, serviced by the Midland Regional Tourism Organisation have successfully developed an organisational identity in the 2½ years since the Organisation was set up. There is no apparent reason why an alteration should be made in respect of the counties serviced by the Organisation. On the contrary, the progress made in organising for tourism within the region could be adversely affected by a change.
