While the information sought by the Deputy is not shown separately in the accounts of CIE, the Board in a recent published statement announced that the operating surplus on the Dublin city road passenger services in the year ended 31st March, 1966, was £166,800. The Dublin suburban rail services had an operating loss of £110,000 in the same year.
