asked the Taoiseach the cost-of-living index figure at the latest date, and the reasons for the increase in it.

With your permission, Sir, I propose to circulate in the Official Report a statement giving the principal items which accounted for the change in the Consumer Price Index (base August 1947=100) from 185 at mid-May to 187 at mid-August, 1966.
