Vol. 225 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Corporation Houses.

49.

asked the Minister for Local Government when an inspector from his Department visited Limerick to investigate the local authority renting system and the repairs necessary in corporation houses; and when the report of this inspector will be presented.

The investigation in question, which related to houses let on fixed rents at St. Mary's Park, Prospect and Killeely, Limerick, was held on 28th July. I have received the report of the officer concerned and am taking up with Limerick Corporation the question of the action necessary on their part arising from the report. In accordance with normal practice in relation to inspectors' reports generally, I do not propose that this report should be published.
