A division having been postponed on 27th October, 1966 on the following motion made by Deputy James Tully on 27th October, 1966:
That this House condemns the principle of interference by the Government in the free dissemination of news and comment by Radio Telefís Éireann as enunciated by the Taoiseach in reply to a Parliamentary Question on 12th October 1966, and emphasises that such interference is totally contrary to the democratic right of free speech.
