Vol. 225 No. 3

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take Business in the following order: No. 11—Votes 50, 21, 22, and the Supplementary Estimate, 23, 24, 25 and 26. Private Members' Business will be taken from 6 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. and by agreement, item No. 29 will be taken.

Arising out of the Order of Business, can the Taoiseach say at this stage if it has been definitely decided to propose on Thursday's Order Paper the nomination of a new Taoiseach?

The Deputy can take it that it is extremely probable.

We are entitled to more than that surely?

I want to suggest that the Party Whips might meet to consider it.

This evening?

Before or after the election? Oh, this evening. I see.

Will they wear bulletproof waistcoats when they are meeting?

The fugitive is back, too.

Muzzles are the thing.
