Vol. 225 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clonmel Factory.

150.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that the wire processing factory established in Clonmel, County Tipperary, has now ceased production; and if he will give full details of grants, loans and any other form of aid by the State or State bodies to this industry.

I understand that the wire processing factory established at Clonmel is not now in production.

I am informed that An Foras Tionscal have not made an industrial grant in favour of the firm and I am not aware of any other form of aid having been made available to them by any State body.
