Vol. 225 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Christmas Postal Arrangements.

32.

Mr. O'Leary

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will consider any reduction in the cost of Christmas parcel post dispatched in the early posting period; and whether there are any plans to bring forward the latest posting period for internal mail.

I have considered the suggestion in the first part of the question but for financial reasons I do not propose to adopt it. The answer to the second part of the question is in the negative.
