Vol. 225 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Parks Development.

79.

asked the Minister for Local Government if, having regard to the fact that much needed parks amenities at Stanaway Park and at 23 other sites in Crumlin and Drimnagh, Dublin, are held up because Dublin Corporation has not available the capital to complete the parks development there, he will have steps taken to provide the necessary moneys now.

There are no proposals for park development works at Crumlin, including Stanaway Park, and Drimnagh before my Department. Until such proposals have been submitted and approved by me the question of borrowing does not arise. The corporation do not need my approval to the financing of such works out of revenue.
