Vol. 225 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Tax on External Income.

101.

asked the Minister for Finance if his attention has been directed to a report to the effect that the Government contemplate the introduction of a new tax on external income; and if such a tax is under consideration.

I have seen the report referred to. No such tax is under consideration by the Government.

Does the Minister not realise we were told the same in regard to the turnover tax?

This question does not arise.

I have heard so much nonsense from those benches during the past week that I am not disturbed by anything said by the Deputy.

What about the tomahawks and the knives?
