Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business on the Order Paper as follows:— No. 10—Votes 28 to 34, inclusive. Private Members' Business will be taken from 6 to 7.30 p.m.

On the Order of Business, may I ask why the Fine Gael motion dealing with pensioners is not on today's Order Paper, having regard to the fact that yesterday evening at 7.30 p.m. there were, under Standing Orders, still three minutes left to deal with the motion?

The motion to which the Deputy refers was concluded yesterday evening.

I cannot allow the matter to be reopened. It was decided last night.

I now give you formal notice that it is not closed and a motion of censure on the Chair will be put down. This is a scandalous order on the part of the Chair.
