asked the Minister for Lands the position regarding the Moran Estate, Woodquay, Tuam, County Galway.

Proceedings were instituted some time ago for the acquisition of this 54-acre holding in the townland of Woodquay but it is not possible at present to indicate what the outcome will be. An objection lodged on behalf of the owner, who is now deceased, is awaiting disposal.

asked the Minister for Lands the position regarding the Moylan, Meehan, and Monaghan estates at Ardrumcille, Belclare, County Galway.

Possession of the Moylan Estate—22 acres—passed to the Land Commission in December last. Proceedings for the acquisition of the Meehan Estate—32 acres—are in the final stages; price has been agreed and possession will be arranged as soon as possible. In the case of the Monaghan Estate—35 acres— proceedings were instituted for the acquisition of the lands but an objection lodged by the owner stands adjourned for a period of one year expiring next November.
