Vol. 226 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Castletownroche (Cork) Houses.

32.

asked the Minister for Local Government the cause of the delay in having houses erected at Castletownroche, County Cork.

I understand from Cork County Council that the contractors for this scheme have so far failed to commence work although they were instructed to do so last November. The council are maintaining pressure on them to start work immediately.

Arising out of Question No. 31——

I cannot allow the Deputy to go back.

I was asking a supplementary question and the Minister ignored me.

The Ceann Comhairle called the next question.

Would the Minister say when he sent this information to the county council?

The Deputy may not go back to a previous question.

Do not be hard on him: he is under 50.
