asked the Taoiseach if he will furnish a table of rural workers' wages as at a current date, in the form of a reply of 4th May, 1965.

The following statement gives for each county (a) the basic weekly time rate of wages paid to forestry workers at 1st February, 1967, (b) the weekly rates of wages paid by County Councils to road labourers at 1st February, 1967 and (c) the minimum weekly rates payable to adult male agricultural workers as from the 1st October, 1966, under the Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates) Order, 1966. In the case of forestry workers an incentive bonus is payable in addition to the basic weekly time rate.

(i) Rate paid in the neighbourhood of Cork City.

(ii) Rate of £9 10s. in Urban District of Bray.

(iii) Rate of £9 2s. in the DEDs of Ballyglass and Cappavilla.

(iv) Rate of £9 10s. in the Cork City area; rate of £8 15s. in western half of County as defined in the Agricultural Wages (Minimum Rates), Order, 1966.
