Vol. 226 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Improvements at Forestry Schools.

68.

asked the Minister for Finance the total cost of improvement to be undertaken at Avondale House forestry training and conference centre; if he will give details of the improvements to be undertaken at Shelton Abbey forestry school and the costs; and when it is expected that work on both buildings will be completed.

The works at Avondale House are estimated to cost £65,000 and should be completed in April next.

The work which it is proposed to carry out at Shelton Abbey consists of improvements to the sewage disposal system which is now very old and unsatisfactory. The work is provisionally estimated to cost £4,000 and will, it is hoped, be completed within the next 12 months.
