Vol. 227 No. 7

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order, Nos 1, 8 and 9. As I arrived in the House, I was informed that the Whips had a discussion and that they agree, subject to the agreement of the House and subject to complying with Standing Orders, that if the business ordered concludes before the time stated for Questions, that Questions might proceed immediately on the conclusion of the business. I suggest, Sir, that course might be adopted.

The House is entitled to arrange its business as best suits it.

On the Order of Business, may I give notice that on the Adjournment I wish to raise the matter of representation of Lissadel Residents' Association at a proposed Departmental house inspection at Dundrum, County Dublin?

The Deputy has given the Chair a written statement of the matter. I will communicate with the Deputy.
