asked the Minister for External Affairs what is the attitude of the Government with regard to Recommendation No. 486 on the conclusions of the second Seminar on International Voluntary Service which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 27th January, 1967; and if he will instruct his Permanent Representative in the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe to vote in favour of the proposals contained in this recommendation.

The Government are favourably disposed towards Recommendation No. 486 and, consequently, when this Recommendation is next considered by the Committee of Ministers' Deputies of the Council of Europe, the Permanent Representative will be instructed to vote in favour of the proposals contained therein.
