asked the Taoiseach if he will state for each of the years 1963-64, 1964-65, 1965-66 and 1966-67 (1) the amount of taxes on income for income tax, surtax and corporation profits tax; (2) the amount of social insurance contributions; (3) the total taxes accordingly on income; (4) the amount of taxes on capital; (5) the amount of taxes on expenditure under the headings (a) central government, (b) local government rates, (c) other and (d) total taxes on expenditure; (6) the grand total of taxation; (7) the gross national product; (8) taxation as expressed as a percentage of gross national product; (9) the increase in taxation over the previous year; (10) the increase in gross national product over the previous year; and (11) the percentage share of the increased gross national product absorbed by taxation.
