Vol. 227 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Committee for European Migration.

3.

asked the Minister for External Affairs what is the attitude of the Government with regard to Resolution No. 342 in reply to the 13th Report on the activities of the Inter-governmental Committee for European Migration which was adopted by the Consultative Assembly of the Council of Europe on 27th January, 1967; and what action the Government have taken, or contemplate taking, on it.

The Government have noted the terms of Resolution 342 which does not call for any action on their part.

Would the Minister mind telling us what Resolution No. 342 is about?

It is about the internal migration of refugees arising from the Second World War. It has no application to us.
