Vol. 227 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Killarney Hospital Accommodation.

55.

asked the Minister for Health when sanction will be given for the demolition of unsightly sheds at Saint Columbanus Hospital, Killarney, County Kerry.

A scheme is at present being planned for the provision of 100 beds at St. Columbanus Hospital. When this new unit is available, it will be possible to demolish some existing unsatisfactory accommodation at the hospital. Planning is being expedited and I expect that it will be possible to invite tenders for the new block before the end of the present year.
