Vol. 228 No. 10

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take No. 8—(Vote 42)—and No. 9. If not already reached, it is proposed to interrupt business at 12 noon to take No. 9. Questions at 2.30 p.m.

Is the Taoiseach in a position yet to indicate when there will be a debate on the Common Market application?

Not yet, but perhaps next week I will be.

Can the Taoiseach say when the White Paper is coming?

The White Paper I referred to is one mainly for the information of the Government.

I thought the Taoiseach said that one would be published.

A White Paper for the Government?

That is not a White Paper.

I do not know to what extent we can give further information but I am making inquiries into these matters.

It is a joke if the Government do not know what is happening.

We know enough.

Nobody but General de Gaulle knows what is happening.
