Vol. 229 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Vocational Education Committee.

34.

asked the Minister for Education if he can now say what was the total cost of the inquiry relating to Limerick Vocational Education Committee; and how the cost will be apportioned.

Mr. O'Malley

A preliminary examination of the accounts submitted appears to disclose that many of them are excessive. It is a matter for me to decide what costs may be allowed and to enable me to reach a decision I have had the accounts submitted for expert examination.

Such costs as are allowed would fall to be met out of the Vocational Education Fund. This fund would need to be reimbursed by State grants.
