Vol. 229 No. 11

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Nos. 9 and 10 on the Order Paper. Questions will be taken at 2.30 p.m.

I propose too, Sir, that, when the Dáil adjourns at five o'clock this evening, it is then adjourned until three o'clock on Thursday, 13th July, and will sit that day until 10.30 p.m. and on Friday, 14th July, from 10.30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Resolved accordingly.

On the Order of Business, I want to make it clear that we object to the proposal to take the Report Stage of the Money Resolution after the Resolution has been considered in Committee today in accordance with the terms of Standing Order 119.

Could the Taoiseach give us an idea what business we expect to complete before the Dáil adjourns?

The Social Welfare Bill and the Marts Bill. That is all we want.

And the EEC debate.

The adjournment debate.

May I ask can the Committee Stage of a Bill be taken before the Money Resolution is reported?

The Money Resolution must come first.

In Committee and Report?

Is it quite clear that the Committee Stage of this Bill cannot be taken today?

I am not saying that. I am saying the Money Resolution must be taken before the Committee Stage of the Bill.
